Seaside Riot!!

Formed from the ashes of Seaside Riot, ‘The Heartbreaks’ are a popular four piece established in Morecambe during the summer of c2008. Their style, as described by a random muso type is “a wry take on Punk rock songcraft. Jaded sarcasm, arcane language and rarefied romantic longing compete over stomping Wigan Casino drums, Jangle pop guitars and walls of feedback to create a sound that is part 60's girl band and C86". Not sure what that's all about but they sound alreet judging by the tracks on their MySpace page.

Morecambe youth - more to life than smashing up bus shelters on a Friday night.

The Lads are currently on a UK tour and playing a set down @ the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen this evening. PPG will be there for a few school night ales offering support, not sure how we’ll fit with the Old Street scenesters with their skinny jeans and big hair mind..
